Six years after the events of Resident Evil 2, Raccoon City survivor Leon Kennedy has been dispatched to a secluded European village to investigate the disappearance of the US president’s daughter. What he discovers there is unlike anything he has faced before.
Every aspect of the classic game has been updated for the current generation, from modernized graphics and controls, to a reimagined storyline that may surprise even hardened fans of the original game.
Leon is even better equipped to battle the hordes of Ganados than before. Fans of the original will immediately notice the added fluidity and freedom to his movement, and all players will appreciate the renewed focus on Leon’s knife skills.
Previously a last-resort weapon, knives are now an essential tool that enable stealth kills, last-second escapes and attack-deflecting parries.
A stunning graphical upgrade and fully redesigned audio takes the detail, the atmosphere and the animation of Resident Evil 4 to the next level.
The game also makes the most of the DualSense wireless controller’s features, using the internal speaker for radio communications, and utilising the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to give weapons an even greater sense of weight and power.
